When the world is in flux and under construction old stereotypes and gender roles are swept away: anything and everything can happen. Through organized chaos we see things for what they are worth . . . good or bad. This is an extremely funny production. Co-directed by Margaret Jones and Barbara Mason, and performed on an Elizabethan set designed by Richard George, William Shakespeare’s The Two Gentlemen of Verona traces a pair of madly mixed-up lovers trying to untangle their complicated lives. Will love prevail in the end? Spring is in the air for this outrageously funny Shakespearean sex romp. The Two Gentlemen of Verona ran March 6, 7, 8 and April 3, 4, 5 2003.
