CHN 329 Special Topics in Language, Culture And/Or Literature CHN 331 Traditional Chinese Culture I CHN 332 Traditional Chinese Culture II CHN 333 Modern Chinese Culture (20th century)
These four courses provide a survey of Chinese culture and society from the ancient times to the present. They are taught in English, and are open to all majors of sophomore standing or higher. They fulfill the Baccalaureate Core requirement under the category of Cultural Diversity. They are each worth 3 credits, though CHN 329 can range between 1 and 16. They need not be taken in sequence.
