- This site has search functions for students trying to find study abroad programs--including ESL programs in the United States.

- This site provides information in several languages on over 600 programs worldwide, including ESL, Engineering and Management. There is also helpful pre-departure information on customs, health and safety, and other topics. Easy to use!

- Here is a comprehensive, easy-to-use information center about ESL programs in the U.S., Great Britain, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and Ireland. Special features include a chat room and Japanese translations.
- International Students Web
- This site is devoted to international students wishing to study in the United States. There's lot's of good information here, but listening to "The Star Spangled Banner" again and again may be a bit too annoying for most people. Turning off the sound on your computer is highly recommended in this case!

- The World Lecture Hall
- The World Lecture Hall (WLH) contains links to pages created by faculty worldwide who are using the Web to deliver class materials. For example, you will find course syllabi, assignments, lecture notes, exams, class calendars, multimedia textbooks, etc.
- UIUC Classes with Web Resources
- This site from the University of Illinois lists all their classes which have web pages. Looking at the syllibi and assignments for these classes clearly shows what is expected in classes at a top U.S. university.
